From SP 13A, which leads to Celle Enomondo, we continue on  SP13, until Pianetti place. From here  we take a country road crossing vast cultivated areasv, along Triversa river and passing through Perosini. At the end of the road turn left towards Rivere, from which you will have to drive about 200 m on the provincial road n.12. In this area there is the TIGLIOLE'S WILDLIFE OASIS (LIPU) and, going on, you can find one of the masterpieces of Romanesque art of Asti, the church of San Lorenzo,Tigliole. As others in Asti, this architecture testifies the presence of the original village, which appears for the first time in the land registry in 1507. It 's a Romanesque church,based on a rectangular plan, with an original masonry of the apse, having the typical two-colour texture, characterized by the use of bricks and sandstones. Many exhibitions and cultural events take place at San Lorenzo Church. The way continues, firstable in the direction of the Tigliole'center, along Via Roma, and then, turning right, towards the valley and, then, towards San Carlo region, point of arrival of the second stage and the beginning of the fourth. From here it's also possible to walk on Via dell'Acqua in the direction of Cantarana. The first historical information about Tigliole dates back to 974 A.D., deriving its name from the Tilius tree. In ancient times it was made up of two distinct centres, a lower one corresponding to the area surrounding the church of San Lorenzo, and of which today there is no evidence apart from the church itself and an upper one corresponding to the current inhabited centre. Historically, the population of Tigliole has always been little devoted to agriculture while trade has always been flourishing. With the changing of owner to the Savoy and the loss of commercial advantages, local population was forced to improve agriculture and still remains one of the main activities.
