The project was initiated by the Department of Parks, Protected Areas, and Mountain Economy of the Piedmont Region with the aim of creating a new point of reference and giving a voice to everyone, including those who have not yet found a space online. Piemonteoutdoor.it is, in fact, the first institutional portal that allows users to participate actively in keeping data, information, and itineraries constantly updated.
At its launch, the project includes over 600 itinerary cards, 4500 places to eat, 6000 places to stay, and 1000 points of interest divided among relaxation, culture, and surroundings. But this is just the beginning; the work of the editorial staff will be progressive and involve all users, including through the Facebook community.
