Descrizione
From Noasca we follow the pathway along the right-hand bank of the Orco River which, through the chestnut woods, follows the old mule track linking the various towns and villages of the valley. Near frazione Prà it is worth a brief digression to the Orco riverbed where you can enjoy a view of the gorges that the river has gradually cut into the rock. Having reached frazione Gera we cross the River over two footbridges and, after a brief stretch on asphalt – passing through Fei - we start the climb up the mule track, first passing through a chestnut wood and then through an hazelnut woods. Having reached 1500 m above sea level, we find a brief flat stretch, towards the right, that leads us to Meinardi, with its Sanctuary dedicated to Saint Anne. The pathway then cuts the high slope proceeding almost completely flat along a paved stretch leading all the way to the dirt track of the former Electrical Company. After following a part of the track we join the pathway which, to the right, descends steeply to Perebella. From this village we return to a mule track that reaches the Piantonetto road after crossing through Bertodasco. We reach the asphalted road and follow it up to the left for about one kilometre to San Lorenzo.
